You can see a really beautiful, flawless person on the street and the next second you can´t find that image of that persons face in your mind, the person is to perfect. It´s small strange features in especially the face that makes a person stand out. You obviously have to be pretty lucky when it comes to bone structure in the first place but the point is that small “defects” like this can really make a person stand out!

Hi Kim
There are many ways to fix this problem. One of which is to expand the upper jaw . This will create space which will allow the teeth to be moved around to line them up.
Each individual case is different, and it is best if you came in so we could do some digital x-rays to help diagnose the best treatment option for you

How would you fix it Dr Cary?
I am guessing you would have to remove a tooth, then slide all the teeth to the right. Would that leave him with a narrow smile which could mean you would totally miss that flash of white that… He is reknown for.

The reason I ask this is because I have that exact problem…… and I don’t have a missing tooth anywhere.

I’m a single mom and I have 2 kids who both needed braces. I make just enough to not qualify Medicaid services. I had to pay over $4800 so that my child can have braces and a beautiful smile… She was very scared and timid at school. Funny Story but the fact on teeth was really unbelievable they would share the same teeth?

That is why its title is sharing in marriage. I just read a few lines and find it really interesting so I read the entire story well I’m satisfied on what I’ve read…

The bottom line is pay attention to your teeth so you wont have the same experience as this two couple.

Rebecca, this point was not meant to be condescending, but illustrative and informative. I agree as I state in the post that Tom Cruise is a successful, good looking actor. That doesn’t take away the orthodontic reality that many people would not notice. As a dentists who practices orthodontics, it’s my job to have this eye for detail. My patients look to me for this level of expertise and experience.

I knew all this before I read it here, and I still love Tom Cruise’ smile. I think it’s charming, even though his middle-line is displaced – just like mine was.

Not because I want to criticize this debate, but I think this article is too materialistic. I know that this is from a dentist’s point of view, but I bet it’s the fewest persons, or women, who wouldn’t be charmed by his smile.

Just my opinion so don’t take it too seriously, I just think this article was too condescending.
